There are eight different types of volleys that you can send: video, audio, text, image, screen recording, video uploads, GIFS, and files.

Video

This is the most popular volley type. To send a video volley, simply tap the record button in the middle of the screen and it will instantly start recording.

When you're done recording, simply hit the stop button and it will send your volley.

If you want to start your volley over, simply hit the cancel button and re-record what you want to say. On your mobile device, there is also the ability to switch the camera around back and forth between the front and rear cameras while recording.

There is no countdown timer before you record or preview after you record so that you can keep the conversation moving, just like you would in a real-life conversation.

Audio

To send an audio volley, tap the "Voice" button  and it will start recording.

When you're done recording, simply hit the stop button and it will send your volley.

If you want to start your volley over, simply hit the cancel button and re-record what you want to say. There is no countdown timer before you record or preview after you record so that you can keep the conversation moving, just like you would in a real-life conversation.

Text

To send a text volley, click the Text icon below the record button. A text box will then appear. You can change the color of the background of your text volley with the options in the top of the text box. You can also @ mention someone who is in that DM or Channel. Within the box, type your message or paste a link and then hit send.

Images, Video Uploads, and GIFS

On your mobile device, there are multiple ways upload an image or video that you have on your camera roll.

Click the gallery button in the lower left-hand corner, and then chose whether you want to take a photo, choose a photo (from your camera roll), choose a video (from your camera roll), or pick a GIF (GIPHY).

2) Then choose to record an entire screen or just a single window

3) Now we're recording.  It's time to show what you need to show.  (Note: that little recording window will not be seen in your recording.).
